2k limit what is it ?

hi ,

when i log into my experian account to monitor my credit it gives me some red and green boxes to indicate what i am doing positive and what i am doing negative.

One of the only boxes left is that i do not have a credit card averaging 2k limit.

WHAT IS THIS ??? i have not been able to find any information what so ever about this. what is this 2k limit line and where are the next / all the limit lines and what do they mean ?

is it like 2k 5k 10k 20k 25k 50k ?  and what are they and what do they mean to credit people ?

thank you

Re: 2k limit what is it ?

What are limits on your current CCs/TLs?  Are they less than $2k? If so, then that's what EX is referring to.  Provide additional information if you would like the more experienced to assist in your quest for information/understanding.

Any advice given is always YMMV...

Re: 2k limit what is it ?

In science, mathematics and such, "K" is an abbreviation for the number "1000."   It follows that "2k" stands for 2000 (2 x 1000 = 2000).  5K = 5000, 25K = 25,000 and so on.
