It would be difficult to overestimate the effect of uti on FICO scores. High utilization does to your FICO score what carrying a couple grand pianos tied to your car roof does to your gas mileage.

WOW great job! I hope I get a similar boost.
I just got 6 accounts removed from TU 22k total and I am about to knock out the care credit bill once that check gets here.

I hope to get a boost from the lower util.

will those 6 accounts effect your average age. when I got rid of mine they had no effect. but as you see the util helped the most.

Hmmm... good question. 99% of my problems came from 2002. Although I cannot be sure as I don't have the old report in front of me to compare but I would assume most if not all of the ones removed were from that time. So semi ages.

Truthfully, I would rather have the bad accounts off my report and have a low score then have them on there and have a little better score. So even if I take a hit for history, I am still stoked about getting those sucka's off my reports

The big score change will come when I pay off Care Credit and Conn's tomorrow with my stimulus check. It should post tonight.
