So my husband and I, last July 2017, were camper shopping and started the process of purchasing one. We changed our minds, but not before our accounts were hit 5 times.
I have 5 inquiries from Camping World! Here is the breakdown:
EQ: Medallion Bank, Credco and Credco (Credco ran on 7/16 and 7/17)
TU: Acceptance Loan
EXP: Merrick Bank
Can one of the Credco's be removed? Could it be hurting my Equifax score more since 3 of the inquiries showed up on it? I don't know why it was run twice??

I'm not sure that 3 is going to be much worse than 2, so I wouldn't stress it. Inquiries seem about impossible to get off based on what I've read here.
I applied for CLI with my local credit union, they do HP for everything. Come to find out they dinged me twice in one day for it. So I contacted them to see if they could remove one, they responed back with needing copy of report. Well IMO they should have that info as they're the ones who pulled it, right? I'm thinking it's just too much of a hassle for one HP removal. If my score was considerably lower, to the point it was adversely affecting me. I might have gone through with it.
If you didn't approved the extra HPs, you could dispute...it's a headache, time consuming and stressful sometimes going back and forth. I would let it go honestly.
Now, if i'm not shoping for ANYTHING and all of the sudden i get an inquiry, hell yes i'll fight it.
Sad, but it can happen. When I applied for credit at the dealership for my new car (in 2015), I had 13 HP from various entities. It took two years for them all to go away. So sorry this happened to you.
My plans for the future are to get my loan and then car shop. I don't want this to happen again. Again, so sorry you are dealing with this.
Thats the dealer shopping for rates. It happens all the time when you purchase a vehicle. If you lease its only one HP.
A couple of letters and a phone call sometimes less has allowed me to remove several HP.
