57 Point Drop Equifax

I cannot understand how having a public item deleted can drop my score 57 points! Has this ever happen to anyone else?

Re: 57 Point Drop Equifax

Yes pretty sure. I just got my daily report from Truecredit and the only change is the deletion of the public listing. When I started last month I had 6 derog's. Last week 5 was removed leaving me with 1 and the 1 public listing and my score was 629. All this week 629 until this morning when the public listing was removed and my score dropped to 572.

Are you going by the scores provided to you by Truecredit?  Those are worthless, and are not your real FICO scores.  I'm not sure how they calculate "their" version of what they think your FICO score is, but I can guarantee you they don't even come CLOSE to what your actual FICO score is.

Truecredit reports all 3 of my scores as low 600's.  My actual FICO's are mid 700's.

If you want to find out your actual score, pull them here at Myfico.
American Express Blue Cash Everyday $6600
Barclays US Airways Premier World Mastercard $14500
Chase Sapphire Preferred $5000
Chase Freedom Visa $1000
Chase United Explorer $8500
Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select Visa Signature $7500
Citi ThankYou Premier World Mastercard $7500

scores you pull here are the REAL ones and the correct scores.
scores you pull from anywhere else are NOT real and not correct.
There are not separate scores for credit cards, mortgages.
There is an auto enhanced score that the consumer cant pull.

Re: 57 Point Drop Equifax

It sounds like you lost age. Was your public item the oldest thing on your CR?
I would recommend pulling your FICO's to get your real score. My TC scores are over 100 pts lower than m FICO. And my lowest score on FICO is my highest for TC. As another poster said they are worthless.

You might be right. The public record was from 2004 a paid tax judgement from my ex wife I disputed because it was not mine and it was deleted. I guess I should have left it alone.. LOL. Wow!

The good thing is you will gain points a lot easier now because of you not having any negative info.

Have you pulled your FICO's yet?
