58 point increase!

HSBC collection came off equifax on true credit today, guess they are showing me GW love?!  58 point increase WOOT, and my fako is the same as my fico with EQ, i still wish the dang score watch would update so I can know for sure it went up that much!!!  If it does, it means my score has gone up over 130 points since i came to these forums last month!

Re: 58 point increase!

HSBC? Really? The "conservative bank"? What did you do to get that to happen? How many letters did you send?

BTW, CONGRATS?

Re: 58 point increase!

Nice!  My only collection finally dropped off of my EQ report earlier this month and my score jumped about 60 points too.  That was my only baddie, but I couldn't believe that a 6yr old collection was dragging me down that much!

Re: 58 point increase!

Im not sure how i got it removed.  Ive sent GW letters to every address i could find, and disputed with CRA's because it was listed as paid on one of them, transferred on another, etc.  I dont remember if i paid it or not but i disputed it as inaccurate information and asked that it be deleted.  I suppose if it falls off the other reports then my GW was successful.

I assumed HSBC was good with GW letters, they removed my paid HSBC BB info that was derog a few weeks ago

As for how many letters i sent, god knows, ive spent about 50 bucks in stamps the last month, id say thats worth 130 point increase lol.  I do keep track of when/who i send letters to, but its at home and im leechin mcdonalds wifi at lunch right now  =P

Re: 58 point increase!

PLEASE....share the address...I have some on my reports...but when I sent the GW to HSBC...they sent a letter back..saying a whole bunch of nothing...I too have a HSBC BB charge off...I have not paid that through the CA yet...but it was sold...is there anyway for you to included the letters you sent to them...or did you send the original GW letter...

I sent HSBC a GW...and before that I disputed some unknown lates with the CRA..it came of EQ...and I sat around..waiting for it to be removed from the others....it has not been removed...and that was weeks ago...so I think it was removed due to the disputing...rather than the GW...

Re: 58 point increase!

I know I sent to these two addresses:

po box 19360
portland, or 97280

po box 5253
carol stream, IL 60197

If I get home and see that i sent to more addresses I will let you know.  I sent a standard GW I found here.  I have a new orchard card with them, that is in good standing, that may have helped?  I just double checked TrueCredit, the HSBC BB has all came off, but I payed it before it went into collection, (it did list charge/off).  I cant update TC for another 7 hours to see if HSBC CC dropped off any other reports Smiley Sad
