Can someone please explain this to me. Ive been busting my ass trying to climb out of this credit helll hole, but these assh@#es seems hellbent on keeping me there. a 69 point drop for paying down an account???????
I can't say I have any knowledge of how this is formatted. But to me it looks like it is saying your are 30 days late. That turns this account into a baddie, hence a big score drop. Or at least that is what I think the arrow from the Pays as Agreed to Not more than 2 payments late means.
It is true the balance has gone down, too. But late payments count a lot more.
thank you for the response guys. I will call them first thing in the morning.

No one's doing anything to you. It's your usage of your credit that resulted in this. Your problem in understanding is that you're incorrectly assuming causality and not accounting for all factors. What you've posted seems to indicate that you have a derog -- "Not more than 2 payments past due". Derogs usually have the biggest impact given that Payment History is the biggest factor:

Well, I pay down my Dell (6 months same as cash) monthly and take a two point hit every time because my balance has decreased and my utilization has gone down - at least that's what it says on the FICO report. I autopay the account so I am never late.

Is Dell a revolving line?

Interestting. And you take a 2 point hit on each of the three? EQ, EX and TU?

No. Only on Equifax and only on this specific account whenever I pay it down. It isn't always two. Sometimes it is only 1 point. I am not all that concerned about it but I do find it rather odd.
