AFNI....sends predated letters?

AFNI sends me a letter for a Verizon account that is not mine...

however, the letter is dated February 14, 2008 but it was USPS stamped March 4, 2008 and i received yesterday March 10, 2008.  thats like 19 days, after the letter was composed.

I DV'd them and denied the colllection was mine (it really is, never had a Verizon account).

I also instructed them NOT to predate letters to me and included copies of them n the corrspondance

HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS?

I fu*^ing hate AFNI. Thats all I am going to say till I calm down.

I just spoke with Tony, EID 01826, whom states he is a supervisor at AFNI collecting for Verizon Online. He is the biggest moron to walk the face of the planet.

Maybe they sent it to the wrong address initially, found another address, and resent?

but from what i read on the board I think it is something more DEVIOUS!

Leagally i have 30 days to respond, or else I forfit much of my dispute options.  by predating the letter and sending it to me so I recieve 4 days before the 30 day, FCRA is kind of Sneaky and Tricky..
