Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
You don't tell the people reading your post when you opened the two cards. If it was six months ago, that's a problem. If it was six days ago it's not.

IMO CRA’s do not report charge cards efficiently. I would wait until after your next statement, to see if it reports.
Different departments within Amex handle different cards. Amex has been known to be exceptionally slow, where a card might not appear for three months. That was the case for my Amex cards, for example.
Give it more time...Amex is slow to report new accounts. If it hasn't reported within 3 billing cycles than call & see what's up.

Amex always reports a new account on the Statement Close Date of the second monthly billing cycle.
