I made my full payment to AMEX 1 day just before the statement close. So although I have a zero balance, it reported the balance minus my minimum. They will waive the previous month's interest but has anyone had success with asking them to report back the new balance🤔

You made a payment the day before the statement cut. It took overnight to post on your account. It looks like it hit as the statement was being generated to show your payment and a balance. Confusing part is it you thinking you'd have a zero balance as you said. Because you posted it reported a balance minus your minimun. Then waive the previous months interest. Did you pay off the card and now asking it to show $0 balance?

Yes I paid the card in full. But as you said the payment hit as the statement was being generated. So I'll have to wait for it to report as zero on the Nov statement. It's fine, just curious about the reporting process. I'm just glad I'm done with debt with Amex, never to return🥰🥰🥰
