AU Question

I am in the middle of trying to buy a couple houses and it occured to me to remove myself as an AU from my wifes CC that have a high utilization rate on them. What I am wondering is what is the best way to go about getting them off of my CR ASAP? I have already removed myself from one by using their website. How do I get it off of my CR? Do I send a dispute letter saying that it is not my account? Do I need to wait until it reports again? Any suggestions on the best course of action would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If the request to remove you was put in with the CCC you should just wait it out.. it generally takes 30 days. You could also dispute with the CRA as not mine, but that can take 30 days as well.

Re: AU Question

I put a request in 3 times with EQ and they say it come back verified as mine. I called the CCC and they say they can not delete it, because I am an AU. I don't want to cancel my AU status now, because the balance will be stuck on my credit report when they stop reporting. I don't see any other options.
