Account listed twice

First off, been lurking here awhile and learning alot. Thanks for all your advice and help. I have a Household Automotive Finance account listed twice on my EQ report. This was a repo charge off from 2001. One of them shows DOFD 7/2001, and the other shows 6/2002. The account #'s are only one digit off from each other. I have only had one account with them. How do I dispute this? Or should I? How bad is this hurting my score? I also have a collection account listed twice on my report with the same account #, same collection company. The only diffrence is the dollar amount, they are one dollar off from each other. This one is still within SOL, so I shouldn't DV, should I? Thank's again for all your advice.

Re: Account listed twice

I think both are obviously harming you. I'm not big on disputing, but I would dispute with EQ as a "duplicate account" for both of them. EQ should keep the correct one.

How do I go about disputing these? Online thru EQ?

Yes. You may need to purchase a report beforehand.

Re: Account listed twice

OK, thanks. I have already purchased a report, and I see where I can dispute via EQ online. Thanks for your help!
