Accounts showing included in bankruptcy and weren;t

I filed for 13 in 2004. I had student loans in deferrment and they had been consoildated into one loan. I had co-signed a small loan for my father. When I filed 13 in 2004 I had my father to refi the small loan and we paid of the joint account with my name on it. It now shows as a negative mark on my credit with a 0 balance and listed as included in bankruptcy in which it was not as stated in the bankruptcy and the fact the loan was paid off. The one of the CRA lists the old student loan account has included in bancruptcy/ bad debt. The loan was not included in the 13 as per federal regs and was in deferment at the time. Another CRA lists it as included in bankruptcy again while in deferment and was not included in bankruptcy. The loans have since matured and been sold and I have been current on my payments for the last 2 years from first payment. I have filed a dispute with all 3 CRA on these accounts. I called both Sallie Mae and the finance company (small Loan for father) and both refer me to the CRA to file a dispute. I am within my rights to demand that the incorrect "included in bankruptcy" be removed from these accounts am I not? Since tthe bankruptcy which was dismissed I have worked hard to restore my credit. I am up to a 620 and rising.
I have another problem with experian (not worth capitalizing) as I have 3 accounts listed with a bank that I have never did any business with. The accounts are all on in the same with one month terms and renewed with the last being a charge off. I have disputed with experian 3 times over these and they keep saying they have been verified (bull). They refuse to let me do ant further investigation online at all. I have no way to idenfiy the lender other than a generic name First Trust which is oh common some what. How can get this removed it is in fact not mine. I do not suspect ID theft but someone elses stuff on my credit.

Re: Accounts showing included in bankruptcy and weren;t

Yes, if the account was not included in your BK, then you have absolutely every right to demand the CRA correct their reporting. When did you dispute? I ask because they have 30 days in which to investigate your dispute.

For the accounts that aren't yours, on your CRs, they have to list the CA or OC and an address. Phone numbers also sometimes appear. Are these CAs or OCs?

If they are CAs, then DV the CA.

If they are OCs, then send Experian a written dispute. You can dispute multiple TLs in one letter, so no need to send one letter per account that ain't yours.

Send your letters CMRRR.
