Address verification with two addresses???

In my ongoing saga to get authenticated online to open a CU account, I've been cleaning up my CRA reports. I had a longer post here, which no one had replied to, so I deleted it in the name of brevity.

Equifax, which is the bureau that will be pulled for my CU application(s), marks addresses as "current" or "former" and will not permit two "current" addresses. I have two addresses because I don't get mail where I live (no USPS residential delivery in my very rural town), so I also have a mailing address (UPS store).

Right now, my mailing address on EQ is marked as "current" and my residential address is "former." My driver's license has my mailing on it - a mistake on the part of the DMV but one that might be good for me in the end.

My question is: if I'm asked my residential address on an application form, and I tell the truth, it's going to show up as "unverifiable" or some version thereof, right? I think that was a problem with my failed DCU app.

But my mailing address is also a known "mail drop" with the CRAs, so I can't simply use that alone.

Do I call the CU and ask to do an application over the phone, explaining the situation? I can provide my renter's insurance policy that shows both addresses are technically current. What do people do in this situation when they don't get mail at home?

Re: Address verification with two addresses???

This has been addressed in your other threads. What is the address on your drivers license? Tax returns? If members dont post. Then there might be a topic no one else has the same situation as yours. Call the CU and ask the work around because you want to apply. And again. Get your reports in order across all 3 with the problems your having. Cant live off one score EQ5.
