Affiliated Credit Services

A large medical bill was recently sent to the CA Affiliated Credit Services (ACS). They did send me itemized proof that they now own the debt. I am going to see if we split the amount up into 5 large payments, if they will then remove it from my credit report. How do I know if they are bonded? What is the best way for me to make sure they follow through with removing the item from my CR once it is PIF? Is it better to wait until we have the entire amount first and just deal with them calling every day?

Re: Affiliated Credit Services

Unless you have a written agreement on the PFD, do not believe anything they say.

Has this been reported to your credit yet?

Re: Affiliated Credit Services

Have you gone to the Medical Debt board on this site?  There are specific things you should and more importantly should NOT do with Medical Debts.  Please visit and read up on the HIPPA and other Medical related processes and see where you fit in.
