Ok I know this sounds weird and strange . I have a lot of cards and once again this year slowing closing some . I got an alert that one of my cards was recently closed by credit grantor . It states AMEX/CITIBANK NA, trouble is I do not know what account this is ?? I have 2 macys accounts but it is not either of those. And don't believe I have any other cards through them . Kinda oerplexed

Are you an AU on such an account? I recently got one that concerned me till I realized it was my wife's card.
Another (very old ) Amex/Citi was an American Airlines card.
@Anonymous Thanks but none that I can think . It's driving me crazy maybe a letter will come it was a 12.5 limit and I have the ending 4 numbers I just can't figure it out
Does the open date (or spend history) not help at all?

I have not checked my free Credit Karma account details since 2021. However, last time I checked it showed all my card accounts, the CL of each and my AU account. I recall seeing my closed card account as well.
Have you looked at a CK report? I could drill down to get a detailed summary on my cards. It might be worth a try.
I know CK was acquired by Intuit a few years ago. I heard Home/Auto CBIS are no longer available but hopefully card account details are still provided.
Update @Anonymous I finally figured it out . It was my Bloomingdales card 😂 I hadn't used that in a few years . Mystery solved still no letter for closure from them .
Make a spreadsheet. While I do not have even close to what some post in their signatures, I do have about 20 CC. I made a spreadsheet with the card name, opening date, CL, increases.....There is a separate area for closed cards. Never thought about it, but I'm adding the last four numbers. FWIW, I'm letting some of my cards die a natural life. I no longer believe in loyalty to my CC. Too many closed: Overstock, A&F, Fuel Rewards, even though they were utilized.
