Hey Community Members,
I've been an avid reader of the forums and without a doubt this is the most comprehensive tool in understanding credit scores and credit in general.
After months of reading and accumulating information I decided to apply for a personal loan with Alliant C.U. based on their product and forum member recommendations.
Applied with Alliant on 07.05
After applying Alliant pulled my TU report and stated my score to be 749.
The document isn't clear which score version specifically but states it's a score range between 300 - 850.
I routinely monitor my credit with Experian 3B and MyFico 3B.
My lowest TU score (Fico8) prior to Alliant pull was 778 (3B report from 07.01).
I pulled a fresh 3B report from MyFico after Alliant to confirm and my lowest TU score is still 778.
My questions:
Has anyone had any experience like this previously with Alliant?
What would be the proper next steps seeing as Alliant is stating incorrect information?

It's not an incorrect score, it's just that you don't know which scoring model they are using. I don't know either. Notice how your screenshot says it's a "credit score", not a "FICO score". On their page that spits your Vantage score they say they use a different scoring model for lending but they don't say which one. Why not ask them which model they use for lending? Maybe you'll get a decent answer, but maybe not.
