I joined this forum shortly after being denied for housing due to credit requirements and mine being way too low. I was at 580 with my Experian, that was on May 19th. What was bringing my score down was my utilization and carrying a lot of balances. I read a lot of knowledge pertaining to how to handle debts and increase my score. I just want to say thanks a lot. I received a lot of advice and took most of it and it really helped me. In less than 2 months my score has come up 140+ points, as of yesterday my Experian Fico 8 was at 722. I made a lot of bad decisions being young with credit but thanks to everyone, i’m just a little bit smarter now. I'll continue using this plethora of knowledge to my advantage, as much as i can. I can't say it enough, thank you so much everyone.
