Both have drawbacks:
* The Alliant loan has a hard pull and people with low scores (e.g. sub-680) may well be rejected.
* Navy may require a hard pull to get in and many people may not meet Navy's military entry requrirements.
I have a list of a dozen+ CUS and banks that I have ruled out via a lot of phone calls with LOs and a few others that I want to encourage other folks to research (I have some hopes about Wells Fargo, for example).
