I applied for membership yesterday, checking & savings with direct deposit. Not automatic approval and wonder if I will be approved with scores in the 600-650 range?

If you only applied for banking products, without credit, I doubt you'd have a problem, unless you're in Chexsystems.
I'm clueless about chexsystems. What does it do and why would I be in it? I've never written any bad checks.
Chexsystems is like a CRA for bank accounts, bad checks, etc.
If you have never had a bank account go south or wrote a bad check you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
However, with the way identity theft is rampant these days, I would at least order a report from them to make sure. You can google Chexsystems and order a free report from online.
You can request a copy of your report or file (or whatever term they use) from ChexSystem. You can google them and request it online if you'd like to know for sure. If you've never bounced a check, you're probably in fine shape.
Congrats on opening accounts with Alliant. I like them fine. They gave DH his first high limit CC.
+2! What Guiness56 & beamMeUp said!
I like Alliant a lot as well. They have lovely customer service. I like their credit card too.
I'm not counting on a cc but, would like to build a relationship and perhaps use their student loan service
WTH?
I submitted all my info as directed to chex and hit submit but, it redirected me to crap about their service, NO report???

I went thru the process just to see how it worked and when I got to the page where it asks for all your info, name, ss#, DOB etc...... it says this right at the top of the page....
"Please complete and submit the online form below to request a ChexSystems report. Your consumer report will be sent to you via U.S. mail within 5 business days."
I assume it said the same thing for you, but, you may have missed that part. I did not go thru with the process because I know I never wrote a bad check or had any problems with a bank ever, I just wanted to see if I could find out why you didn't receive your report, and I think I found out why, you do not get it immediately online, it is mailed to you.
I could be wrong or have missed something, but that's what it said for me.
Correct, you do not get it online, it is mailed to you.
I got mine in about 7 days.
