Re: Almost in tears - 30 fake addresses, multiple fraudulent accounts

That seems crazy that you are going through this drawn out process with TU. In any of the letters you've received from them has there been any mention of a appeals process or contact info if you disagree with their findings?

Transunion Update

When I went to pull CreditKarma, 9/10 collections have disappeared, along with quite a few negative items.

I called TU to inquire their method of removal, but they had no idea what I was talking about.

So as of now, there are 2 negative accounts on TU/EX that remain. EQ have removed and blocked those items on Friday, but TU/EX still hasn't recieved that blocking request yet. I believe it took 72 hours before.

There are still 45 inquiries on TU, so I opened a dispute for each one. EQ have removed all inquiries.

EX Update

As I mentioned above, there are 2 negative accounts on that report. Just waiting for the EQ request.

I removed all addresses (there were 3 pages) and name variants. EX opened disputes for each addresses.

Re: Almost in tears - 30 fake addresses, multiple fraudulent accounts

Well, things hit a wall.

1) Experian

(5) accounts have different account info then the other reports. IN order for them to block those items, I need a new police report. Equifax sent the request to them, but it didn't match in their back end system. So, I filed a new police report today.

2) Equifax

Equifax put on 3 blocked accounts back on my report, without my knowledge.  This is ridiculous - because I got a letter from one creditor that said

"The info Equifax has given us DOES NOT match your information in 2015. We recognize this to be a fraudulent account."

So, how could Equifax verify this info to be accurate? They can't.

I filed a form with CFBP that said I didn't get a 5 day notice, but if I don't hear a response by next friday, I am going to arbitrate to clear out those accounts. This is more then ridiculous and so frustrating. I can't devote 8 hours a day to this anymore!

3) Transunion

Thats also an arbitration matter. They did block most items but still waiting on the rest. Their response to CFBP complaint was pathetic.

BUt now, I have all the info to prevail. Letters saying the accounts were fraudulent, not proper notice of reinsertation etc. Just very said this is taking so klong.

I would also check the following reports

Innovis https://www.innovis.com/personal/creditReport

Sagestream https://www.sagestreamllc.com/consumer-report/

ARS (got to google for the address... snailmail)

As well as ChexSystems and EWS reports as well (chex and ews is for opening/bouncing checking accounts)

https://www.chexsystems.com/

Early Warning System

https://www.earlywarning.com/consumer-information.html

Its very likely youll have to work with the top 3 to get stuff blocked as well...

Re: Almost in tears - 30 fake addresses, multiple fraudulent accounts

Yes, I pulled all those three.

Update

Equifax

---

Filed an arbitration today. They added 3 accounts AFTER block that AREN'T MINE, verified by a detective!!

So - yea.

Experian

---

Almost done with Experian. 3 negative accounts left but I got a fresh, updated police report I just updated

Transunion

---

Almost resolved, believe it or not. 3 more negative accounts but those may come off soon - submitted new Police report to Experian.

Re: Almost in tears - 30 fake addresses, multiple fraudulent accounts

Transunion is CLEAN. all inquiries, etc. Score on myfico is 701 - with 2 paid in full student loans + one auto paid in full.

Equifax / Experian - both have arbitration cases with them now. Experian denied my third police report and I got a letter:

"This police report was not eligible because there was no penalty you lied" or something to that effect.

Clearly that wasn't the case.

My frustrations just reached a boiling point and I decided to take action.

Keeping going at it.  My DW  still has one item now about to fall off from id issues on eq.  It took years for TU and Exp. to get them off.    EQ has has always taken the position  they are correct and you are wrong.

Re: Almost in tears - 30 fake addresses, multiple fraudulent accounts

What I find particullary interesting is that I never submitted a new police report to Transunion - besides the one they declined. I wonder if EQ/EX sent the block request after they received my arbitration request? That would make sense.

Re: Almost in tears - 30 fake addresses, multiple fraudulent accounts

Possibly.  TU seems to be the most real.  EQ would deny there is a sky .  I think due to the cost of arb all of these issues will get fixed asap.
