Amazon Prime Equal Pay Feature

Hey everyone,

Not sure if this has been posted on here, haven't seen it anywhere but just wanted to mention that I've been seeing the Equal Pay options showing up on specific listings on Amazon and in the check out process now, for equal monthly payments for 6 months, no interest but as well as no 5% back.

Re: Amazon Prime Equal Pay Feature

I've seen this pop up on Amazon a few times, especially for larger purchases. Seems similar to AmEx's PayItPlanIt feature. Useful for those that are breaking a large purchase down over a course of a few months.

Re: Amazon Prime Equal Pay Feature

Think this only applies to items shipped and sold by amazon but I seem to get this option on any purchase over 100$ which is a great feature.

Re: Amazon Prime Equal Pay Feature

There are two plans I see in Amazon. One is for virtually any item, via the Chase card. No interest, equal pay, no cashback. They offer it from 6 months to up to 18 months I think, depending on the item price.

Then there is the Amazon in-house plan which is not tied to any credit. It is 5 monthly payments, appears on certain Prime items, but does earn the 5% cashback.

I am not sure which one you are referring to, since your description uses a combination of both.

Im a big fan of Amazons internal 5 pay plan... Not so much a fan of Chases 6 pay plan.. I like the 5%.. =)

Amazon’s 5 pay still earns cash back when using either the Amazon Prime Store Card or Chase Amazon VS as far as I know. I don’t see anywhere that it says you don’t.

Edit: never mind, I read it wrong lol.
