Amex Statement credit and CLI.

Hello all,

So, I received a $200 statement credit on my Amex CM 3 days after reaching the sub spend. That was fast. Is this normal ?

The result is now i have a negative balance that i dont think i'll be able to spend before statement cuts. What is the impact of a negative balance reported on scores ? Also will that affect my plans of 3x CLI after 61st day ?

Any advice is appreciated !

Yup, they did the same with my account, too. Having a negative balance won't affect anything in regards to your credit. It'll just show as a $0 balance on your reports. It shouldn't affect your plans for a CLI one bit.
