Amount on delequincy/collection, does it effect fico?

Lets say:
Collection account A owed $179
Collection account B owed $4700
Does fico take into consideration the amounts owed?
Or
Does it look at it as "a collection is a collection."

If it's a collection and not a charge-off, balances don't matter. A collection is a collection rather paid or unpaid.

Thank you, looking at possible pfd as an option, I have 3 under $1k. Those would definately be doable if I decide I do not want to wait another year for them to age off.
