Amx Problem

I have a recent letter from AMX lowering my credit limit to just over the balances for a Blue and Delta Sky Miles. I have a balance of 2200 on one and 1200 on the other.  Nothing showing as 30 days late.  This lowered by score 15 points. 

Is there anything that might be done?

How long have you been carrying balances?

Are you carrying balances on other cards?

I have had the cards for about 1.5 to 2 years.  I have not really charged anything for a few months.  I only have a balance of 600 on a home depot card and not much if anything on any other cards.  Its strange. I had an alert that said my balance had increased....which it didn't. It was actually due to the credit decrease

But how long have you carried the balances on the AmEx cards?

Even though AmEx pretends to let you carry balances, don't believe them. Never go over three or four months, and each month paid the balance down by 1/3 or 1/4 of the original balance. They want to see that that balance will be gone PDQ.
