Wow that is great work for a GW. May I ask what was removed? 30 day late, how old, etc.?
Keep up the good work!!!!
It seems that it was just a 30 day late from December 2008, removed past due amount, reported zero balance and status to reflect paid as agreed. This whole group of things (minus the bal change) only dropped me a few points to begin with so I was SHOCKED at how much fixing it would improve it.
Most of my baddies were a year old and this was really the most recent late payment. It was only paid a few days past its due date, and they always told me that it had to be 30 days past to be reported 30 days past.
Sometimes lates can come back on your CR. That can happen right at the time you apply for a mortgage, or an autoloan.
Seriously, great job and good luck on the mortgage.

did u write a letter to the collection agencies? I was going to do that but i didn't think it would make a diffrence
Writing letters to OCs and CAs both can definitely make a difference Laurie. If you look around the Rebuilding Your Credit forum for information on GWs (good will letters) and PFDs (pay-for-delete) letters, you'll see plenty of great advice and success stories. It won't work for everyone or with every situation, but I think a lot of people here will tell you it's definitely worth the effort.
