Another Inquiry Issue / Question

I have read the forums . . . but am still confused.  First, I have an unexplained inquiry on by TU report - I have not idea who this is!  It was July 18 of this year.  The only credit I applied for was a car loan in October which brings me to my next issue . . . my Exp report is showing to pulls by them - one on October 1 and one on October 2 - they other 2 reports show only October 1.  What is the best way to dispute these?  Can they run report twice in 2 days when I only applied and was approved for credit the first day?  Any help would be great.  I have all of GW letters out of the door and am now working on removing these inquiries.

An unexplicable inq always makes me nervous. I'm paranoid about someone trying to steal my credit or my identity, even though with my scores, who'd want them.

I think a dispute with the CRA would be justified.

The second question: if the inquiry was from the same institution, it would be an obvious duplication, and therefore a disputable offense. Just my thoughts.

It was the same insitution - the credit union where I financed.  Noone would want my scores either - i can't imagine truely being worried once they get better!  I guess I should dispute then . . . thanks!
