Another question?

I have a collection on my reports that has been incorrectly reported as balance past due with CA. The debt was PIF Feb. 07 to the OC. When I checked my reports and saw the TL reporting since Jan. 07 I called the CA they said call the OC and get them to send the correct info. I did and the OC did.  I want it gone, off the reports ASAP.  I don't know if the CA will delete their TL or just report it PIF. What should I do?

1. Call CA and ask how they are going to report with the the CRA.
2. DV the CA and despute the acount with all 3 CRA.
3. Wait to see how the CA reports it. Then DV them and despute it with the CRA.
4. Other ideas.

Thanks Again.

Re: Another question?

You did not pay the CA so it should not be reported by the CA. The OC should call the CA and have them remove it. In the meantime you could dispute the account as paid the OC and supply the appropriate receipt and it should be removed by the CRAs.
