I've been trying to use the phone system to cancel my Credit Check Total membership all day today. I press 1 for membership questions at the beginning, then it takes me straight to a person instead of next asking if I want to cancel using the online system. I've tried from 3 different phones, thinking they didn't like my number coming up repeatedly on caller ID, but that made no difference. Anyone else unable to cancel with the auto dude today?
I would gladly pay the $15 for the monthly service, but I would only get all 3 scores once a month that way. If I subscribe for $1, then cancel, I can get all 3 scores 4 times a month for $2. It's kind of silly the way they have it set up.

I completely agree with this. I'll never even consider a membership as you get more with less in using free trials.
But, speaking of a membership... this happened to me today: I noticed a $32.xx charge on one of my CC's from Experian. When I called the # associated with the transaction, I got CCT. I told them I had an unauthorized charge on the account, and they said it was because I didn't cancel a trial membership (I did). I explained that I did, and immediately she said "oh yes I see that now. I'll reverse the charge and you'll see the funds back on your CC in 3-5 business days." I fought it to be a little suspect to be honest. I can't blame them for wanting more of my money... I mean I've used a half dozen free trial memberships at this point, but don't try to sneak in a membership charge hoping I won't notice or say anything.
