Apartment complex pulled credit report twice...

I just realized that my apartment complex pulled my credit report twice, within two days. I only filled out one application and was approved in minutes, so why do another hard pull two days later? I asked the front office, but they are clueless as what to do about it, and just said they double check sometimes... that doesnt sound right to me. Should I send a non-pp letter to the company or do they have the right to duplicate inquiries within TWO days..argh.

Go back and tell them that they can only do 1 hard pull!!!  They can have the 2nd deleted. Tell them that they can double  check all that they want BUT it must be coded as a soft pull!!

thanks, I just wanted to make sure before I go in there and insist on it being deleted.

If by chance, they say no, they had the right to... would my next action be sending out that pp letter?

is it the same with Hooter's? Because they did two hard pulls on me within three days, and didn't give me the card!
