It is well documented in these forums that many banks and credit unions will hard pull for membership and / or opening a checking account but thanks for the heads up that this particular institution should be included in the list. An inquiry to a single credit report is a minor inconvenience for me and whenever I initiate any transaction with a business I have come to expect it and not be surprised. And this is not limited to just banks but any service provider that I may have contact with.
