I don't have a FICO score yet and I got an email today from Experian. It wrote:
Mike, high five - your FICO Score is doing great!
Congrats on keeping your FICO Score consistent!
You deserve to celebrate Mike, Your FICO score hasn't dipped in months!! It takes hard work to keep your score consistent.
Why am I getting this when it hasn't been 6 months and I DON'T HAVE A FICO SCORE YET!!
Is this something Experian sends out to everyone?
If anyone could help it would be appreciated thx.

Have you registered with the Experian site? If so, maybe you do have a FICO score.

I have months ago but I'm not paying for their service to get a monthly FICO score and my earliest account is from September 19th so it hasn't been 6 months yet.
Maybe they mean the FICO score that I have that they won't tell me unless I pay them? But again it still isn't 6 months yet. I'm confused.
They have a free version that includes Experian FICO 8 monthly. If you don't already have it or signed up for it i suggest you get it. Just like you can get EQ 8 FICO free form here, etc. Below is free version screen shot can look at report, hp's, accounts etc with it and will get emails if you score goes up or down, etc.

I didn't see a link to a free version though. I saw a week free trial or something and then $24.99 a month. Am I looking at the right place to get the free FICO monthly score from Experian?
And are you saying here on MyFico I can get a free Eq monthly FICO score?

Yes it is free been years and years since I signed up and don't pay a cent although each time i login they try to get me to upgrade for paid version
Experian.com should be a free version of it. When I login before that other screen shot I always get this one to upgrade and say keep current on bottom right. I click no, keep current version which is the free one
Free Equifax from here should be this link.
Otherwise an article talking about it here
Best of luck.

So I checked Experian and was in the free membership you showed me. Unfortunately because I have less than 6 months of my credit history I am unscoreable for a FICO 8 score. I then signed up for 1 week free trial membership where they give you a lot more info(I thought). It goes to $24.99 after a week. After joining that it still didn't have a FICO 8 score for me lol. So I canceled that service just now.
I used the link you gave me for the free Equifax FICO 8 score, entered the info it wanted and of course MyFico wants me to call an 800 number to verify my identity smh. I can't win lol. I'll do it but I'm sure there won't be a FICO 8 score for me with Equifax yet either.
So it's obvious that email Experian sent me was bogus since they don't even have a 3 month FICO 8 score for me.
Just need to wait 3 more months and finally I'll get that FICO 8 number which I believe will open a lot more doors for me. But I'm waiting at least a year to apply for another credit card regardless.
I just checked, and I got emails from Experian with statements like "your FICO® Score sure loves your payment history!" and "You could raise your FICO® Score* even higher..." before I was scorable. This was 2-3 years ago. It's just marketing boilerplate.
