No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I was recently added to a authorized user card and its been like a month since its reporting but after checking some stuff i noticed my averaged age CC and oldest card age hasn't changed from before adding the Authorized card, So my question is how can i get this fixed cause the only reason i added the account was for the age of the account
Some card issuers report the date you were added not the original card open date.
You might be out of luck as far as account age on this card.
Should have a little help from another card reporting, and additional credit line.
If you list the cards you could be added as an AU on, users here will help with which ones backdate.
its a Best buy card by Citibank, The weird thing is where it shows all my credit info from Ult to ACC age it shows the old Acc ages before adding the card but when i look at my accounts listed it shows the card which is a 7+ years card.
Where are you seeing the ages? Credit Karma and some other sites are notorious for not accurately calculating credit ages. If it’s showing on your report, rest assured it is being used to calculate your age of credit history and average age of accounts.
Here is an example from my Credit Karma account. My AAoA is actually 8+ years.
This is what it saying btw this is from Experian and Credit karma shows the correct ones, So maybe the problem is with EX since CK shows TU and EQ

The Experian.com interface shows AAoA including AU accounts on one of the screens, and AAOA excluding AU accounts on the other...
Your screenshot is from the "Overview" page - check out the numbers in the "Accounts Summary" section of "Reports & Scores" - you'll likely see a different number.
Both are "correct" - just including/excluding AUs. And neither one actually tells you if the anti-fraud system for FICO8/9 has decided to factor in the accounts...
It sounds the AU card does appear on the report under the actual list of accounts... is that right?
If so, what is the date opened for that account, is it appears on each of the three reports?
And for the accounts that are actually in your name (not AU accounts) what is the Date Opened of the oldest one of those?
I am trying to get a handle on whether the AU account would be likely to help you much.
Also, what is the balance and credit limit on that account?
