Hi all.
If I dispute an authorized user account on my credit report and have it removed, would I still be able to use the card even though it is not being reported to the credit reporting agency?
I doubt that the credit bureau will remove it unless the credit card issuer agrees. If the account exists, the bureau will report it, dispute or no dispute.
What exactly are you trying to do? I think we need more details.
I'm going to guess that the card has, or is about to have, high utilization and the OP now wants to hide the tradeline so their scores aren't adversely impacted yet still be remain as an active AU.
Card issuers don't take kindly to attempts at disputing off valid tradelines and the CRAs won't remove them just on your say-so.

You wont be able to use it, because removing is in essence "closing" of AU account.
Account holder will be able to use theirs.
K, thanks for the info.
