Has anyone had any luck with getting BCA Financial services (medical collection) to delete their reporting after the account is paid in full? I can't seem to get anywhere with this company accepting my payment in full, for a full deletion from my credit report. This is the first collection company I've dealt with that will not delete their reporting after account is paid in full. They informed me it was illegal, which is not totally true. They are the credit furnisher, therefore after the account is paid in full, I am no longer responsible, and they can very well delete the credit reporting. Someone please help, or point me in the right direction. I am so close at applying for a mortgage loan, and this is the ONLY collection on my credit report, and if deleted, will raise my score to above what I need to confidently apply for the loan.
