Balance Transfer

I am curious if conducting a balance transfer could/would help increase my score.

I was thinking about transferring the $620(CL$750) onto my Navy Federal $0(CL$6,000) to get the utilization down. There is no BT fee and the APR on Navy Fed is lower.

I have 3 other cards that have very small balances that I plan to just pay off very soon. I don’t want to do a BT on them because they are deferred interest at the moment (Barclay and CareCredit).

Would doing the BT be a good or bad idea, or would it even make a difference?

LT Goal Score: 750

Re: Balance Transfer

Reducing 620/750 (83%) individual utilization will help with that specific card.  Can't say how it will affect your score.
