Bank refusing to correct CR inaccuracy resulting in point loss.

The bank is reporting a small balance on a closed paid in full account. It has been disputed many times and balance verified leaving this as a negative closed account. I already went through the verbal blood bath with bank corp. I got no where.

I know with proof the CRA will correct it, but I saw this error as a way to possibly remove this subprime account? Can I demand the CRA's delete this account, or will it only be corrected to $0 bal? Thanks.

(Note. Exact bal not posted to remain anonymous to lender)

Pizza, with the dispute process, you have no control over how they are going to react to it. I disputed one inaccuracy and TU deleted the entire thing, losing a 10 year old account with one erroneous 30 day PD. The other two simply corrected the error. I go back to TU really hates me.
