I have the worst luck! Pretty much every month for the past three years, I have recieved an alert on the 28th stating that I have a balance increase or decrease on my Barclaycard based my EQ report. My statement cuts on the 26th, and EQ updates on the 28th. I am pretty much at a point where my score will jump up to the 790's once my Barclaycard reports a 0 balance based on my Jan 26th statement. But guess what.....no alerts on the 28th of Jan! It's not showing up on EX either, although it hit TU on Sunday. This has never happened before!
I've called customer service and they said my statement was sent out to TU on the 26th and it's up to TU to send it the other 2 burueas. They also said that while they update to TU every month, sometimes EX and EQ don't report for two or three months. I really need my Jan statement to post so I can start apping. I know I should just be partient but I accidentaly paid off a student loan (my only installment loan on EX and EQ), so I am afraid that I will lose a ton of points for paying off my only installment loan. Is there anything I can do or will I just have to wait until my next statement? Of course this happens right when I would like to app for a new card. ![]()

LOL, that is the craziest statement I have heard in a while, they send it out to each bureau, TU takes care of TU just like the other 2 take care of themselves. Give it a few days and if not updated call and ask for an update. For me TU is the last to update anything being reported sometimes 1 week past the other 2. Good luck ![]()

Yeah, I called a few times and recieved a different answer every time. TU is always the last to report, so that's the only thing that has me worried that it wasn't sent to EX and EQ.

The CSR you spoke to has no idea what he or she is talking about. TU will not forward information to the other bureaus. Generally, prime issuers like Barclays report to every credit bureau once a month. While they are not required to report, major banks usually do report every month. Wait a few days and see if it updates.

What are my options if it does not update?
Ask Barclays if they can do an off-cycle update (not sure if they do). If not, you will have to wait till the next update cycle (likely next month). I highly doubt it will be an issue though. I have occasionally had a prime bank not update one of the bureaus, but I have never had this issue with Barclays.
My Barclaycard card hasn't reported to EQ since the statement cut 2 weeks ago. TU showed the update more than a week ago now ... You're not alone. This has never happened with Barclaycard for me either.
