CA and Dispute

I disputed an item with the CRA on my CR and now I have recieved a letter from Midland Credit Management wanting to "resolve the dispute".   They are asking that I send them all the checks, paperwork, etc, on this account.  What are they really trying to do?  This is the same company I sent a DV to a few days ago.

Re: CA and Dispute

Never send anything to a CA except a DV   and a DV goes CMRRR.

A simple dispute will get a CA moving!  Nothing on a CR should be touched until you know your SOL, and have an idea what you want to do. If past SOL you have nothing to worry about. If within SOL any creditor or CA can file a lawsuit.

Did you send the DV  CMRRR?

Re: CA and Dispute

Yes, I sent it CMRRR. It was only listed as a debt, did not say what for. Now I know who it is for and it is valid and within SOL.
