I have a CA account that was delinquent beginning 2002. The account was sold to a debt agency. I am not sure why, but it was marked as being paid, by experian. What does that mean?
The group that bought the debt called me a few months ago and I told them I would rather let it fall off than restart the debt by paiying it off. Did I do something wrong?
