CC Closing Dates

Simple (but stupid) question.....I have $0 balances on all my cards except for the ones I plan to PIF before the close dates.

My Discover card sits a $0, the close date is June 19th. If I would make a purchase tonight (June 17) or tomorrow (June 18), would a pending charge be reported for the month? I'd like to report $0, and then the next time it reports will be July 19, so I have a full month to go to town with the card and PIF before the next close date.

Just curious about a pending purchase and if it could, would or won't report.

Re: CC Closing Dates

Only posted transactions are included in a close but be careful assuming that the charge won't post in that timeframe.  There have been cases where people have had pending transactions that posted right at close that were included.
