Re: CCCU???

YAY!  Got an email back from Tammy today.  She approved my husband for a VISA!!  It's only $500.00 (more than the $300.00 we asked for) but it's a start.  He got it with a EX of 561, a foreclosure(3yrs) and a repo(3yrs)  on his CR.

He has to fill out and sign another application (which we will scan and email back to her) and give her a list of his previous residences.

We are so excited!!   I think we'll stop here for a little while.  Wait and see what all the DV's and GW's do.  Then move forward again.

On another note, Shell turned him down due to the FC and Repo.  OH well...we'll work with what we got!

I just love this forum!!  I was able to help my Mom out also with the information I've absorbed from reading here.

thanks to all the wonderful posters and information sharers!!

Re: CCCU???

Tuscani,
I went to the web site and tried to apply for the card and it took me to a loan page and asked for an account # and pin#.  How can I apply on line? Also, my EX is 612 ,no bk or repos or forclosures.  We just paid of HELOC and it's showing $0 bal no lates, 4 mortgages on report with no lates and all paid off.  Existing mortgage not on report- only husbands.  2 car loans paid off, no lates.  Biggie is student loans in collections.

Just paid of Lowe's bal still showing $2450 but should show $48 anyday now, paid off 3 wks ago and Chevron bal $515 but paid off 3 wks ago should show $91.  Other cards utilization rate of 10-30%.

What do you think my chances are and how can I apply on line as link you provided took me to loan page.

Well, I'm not Tuscani. When you get transfered to the loan page, it gives you 3 options and the one you want is Qualified Non-Member loan application and you proceed.

Re: CCCU???

All you have to do is click that option where it says qualified Non-Member loan application.

Hope that helps.

Re: CCCU???

They do report to all (3) per Patty Mcclain, loan officer w/them.

Bruiser...I got to agree w/you. They might as well not even worry about wasting money paying for advertising. I would have never even thought about applying w/them if it wasn't for this site. I never even heard of them.  Another thing that is great about them is...they pull only from EX...most of all the banks and credit unions in southeast pull from TU...which is my worst. Also, fixed 10.90% isn't the best... but not bad either.

Re: CCCU???

Well, I'm walking around on my hands, I never had a credit card with a rate that low. To me, that's a miracle.
