CRTP

Can somebody explain this a little bit more? What date do I look at on my CR. Also, if I paid a CA does it restart after I paid them?

Re: CRTP

The CRTP is the length of time a bad item can stay on your CR.  It is roughly 7 years, give or take 180 days.  This date is determined by the OC and it is the date of first delinqency which caused it to become negative and was never brought to a positive status again.  TU and EX use the DOFD, EQ uses DOLA.  Paying it will not have any impact on the 7 years.  That would be the SOL and it goes by state.  Some states SOL are restarted when any payment  or payment arrangements are made. SOL is the time frame in which you can be sued.  You can be taken to court after SOL has past but that would be your defense.`
