I joined because a company who never sent me medical bills put bad reports on my credit. I had good insurance but the company refused to put the correct codes in for the insurance company. After finding this out I wanted to keep an eye on my score so I could quickly fix any unknown situation.
It gives me good piece of mind. Also, because I always pay my bills I thought I had great credit. It is interesting to find out all of the things that affect your score.
Thanks FICO

myFICO has just launched a new forum dedicated to medical debt. Check it out!
I joined because of D. I joined in 2008, but have not posted till now. I have definitely learned a lot from reading the forums. Now that I'm not "wet behind the ears" anymore, so-to-speak, I can, hopefully, offer some helpful advice. I'm doing pretty good as far as working on improving my credit score, but I have a ways to go now that the bar has been raised on what is considered a good score.
Currently, my scores are: TU 703 (March), EQ 694 (March), Exp 698 (Feb, requested right before they stopped being a part of myFICO).
