Can't get any reports/scores due to "not enough information"

Just paid for the Suze Orman kit, but can't get any credit reports. I get an error message that says "we are unable to fulfill your order request because your credit report does not currently contain enough information to meet the minimum scoring criteria required to calculate a FICO score"??? Am I below 300???

Re: Can't get any reports/scores due to "not enough information"

Hi, welcome to the forums!

  • Have you had at least one credit account that was open for six months or more?
  • Have you had at least one credit account that has reported within the last six months? (and it can't have been disputed)

What are the minimum requirements for a FICO® score?
What are the requirements for a FICO® score?

    Answer

In order for a FICO® score to be calculated, a report must contain these minimum requirements:

    · At least one account that has been open for six months or more

    · At least one undisputed account that has been reported to the credit bureau with in the past six months

    · No indication of deceased on the credit report (Please note: if you share an account with another person this may affect you if the other account holder is reported deceased).

You also don't need to worry about being cahrged- the myFICO system is smart enough to not charge you if it can't deliver the reports.

No, there's absolutely no open accounts because my bank with auto loans and mortgage doesn't report. I was able to get a TU report a few months ago, but it only showed old items. Maybe they all dropped off? I applied for a Cap One card just to see if that would "find" me. Could it work? Thanks.
