If a judgment is listed as cancelled on the court document due to my paying the company drectly for the debt., shouldn't it be removed from my credit report instead of listed as satisfied and released?

I've never heard the use of the term "cancelled," but you'd probably be safe asking the court clerk what that meant. If it means vacated, then it should be removed from your CR. The removal doesn't usually happen automatically, though. You'll have to dispute the judgment with the CRA.
