Hmmm, totally not my experience; my due date is always the 11th and my statement date is the 17th.
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!
Anyone else with Cap 1 not reporting? My mortgage broker is waiting on me for a credit pull, I am zeroing out cards and Cap 1 has not freaking updated.
Typically payment on the 12, they report on the 15. Still they have not reported. Anyone else seeing this?
Can I call them and yell at them to update? Ironicly my Credit one card already updated lol
Cap1 has variable cycle dates now. Look at your reports from last month and see what day they reported your statement, add 3 days and that is when they will report for March. (28 days last month, 31 this month). Keep in mind it may still take a few days for it to show at the bureaus after that. Normally Cap1 updates after they report to EX and EQ within 1-2 days. TU is more like 4ish. As always, YMMV.
If that is the case, it should update on EQ this weekend.
My statement cut on the 14th and Cap1 reported by the 16th.
Are you saying your statement typically cuts on the 12th? If so it should of reported by now.
Cap1 has been doing floating statement dates for the last 4-5 months. Count back 25 days from your due date to determine your statement date.

Agreed, so far all of my statements have been cut on the 17th of each month, I'll keep a lookout for what happens for me next week.
I have 4 cards with Capital One and all of them have "floating" statement dates that shift around to different dates monthly and it's annoying as heck, and no idea why Cap One is doing this. I really don't care about reporting date to the CRAs or payment due dates, but I have a really old habit of not using a card the week before statement and making my larger purchases right after statement to maximize cash flow. Why make a purchase right before the statement and need to pay it in 20-25 days when if you make the purchase right after statement you don't need to pay it for 50-55 days? Not that my cashflow is that tight, thankfully, as I said just an old habit from when I worked in accounting and the rule was "Collect Early, Pay Late", meaning collect any debts as soon as possible and pay bills as late as possible (without and adverse consequences).
So I called Capitol one asking for my statement cut dates as suggested. The rep said the 24th of every month (I called on the 22) and resports to the CRA 3-4 days later. Well that wasn't true. My statement was cut the 27th. It makes it really hard to ensure I don't report with a balance. It feels as though Capitol one knows we pif prior to statement cut date and is losing money cause no interest charges so are doing this floating statements to catch us off guard.

As long as you pay the previous statement balance you aren't charged interest, so the desire to earn interest fees is not a motivating factor for floating statement dates.

I'm right there with you except my delay is Capital One Auto. They've religiously reported on the last day of the month for the past 2+ years, except now I'm still waiting for March to report, and I sold the car and paid off the note three weeks ago.
Until this reports my DTI is out of whack for a mortgage so I'm holding off on having them make the pull until Cap One has reported.

@AnonymousWith the new way they do statement cuts your statement for MAR 2021 should be 6 days after due date and then it takes the CRA 3-4 days to update.
