no way!!! #$%^&*
that's ridiculous. i have cards that i got AFTER capital one that are already reporting on all 3 bureaus. what a pain in the butt.
In my case, they reported right after the 2nd statement generated and they had received my first payment to them. I applied on Sept5, and my statement date is the 18th. So my 2nd statement generated on Oct.18 and my 3 reports updated with the new account on the 21-23rd.
It isn't that unusual as I've seen that pattern over the years on other accounts including my car loan.
thanks for the info, miner.
i guess i'm just a little impatient. i want my reports to update with all the new information so that i can pull new FICOs. who knew it could be such an addiction!

Same here!! Exact same dates!!
In my case, though, they began reporting before I even got the card. I did get the first statement the day before I got the card, though!
