Capital One cc not reporting yet to credit bureaus

I got approved for a Capital One Savor One card on the 1st of January this year but yet it's now Feb. 12th and it still doesn't show up as an account on any of the 3 credit bureaus. How long is it going to take to report? Why is it so delayed?

As of: 3/28/24:

Re: Capital One cc not reporting yet to credit bureaus

Hi Icy,

In my experience, Cap1 does take a bit to report to the credit bureaus. It took them almost a month and a half (nearly two months) to show up on my credit report. However, keep in mind that once Cap1 reports to credit bureaus, it may even take the bureaus a bit to report as well.

*Tip: if you hover over the credit cards, you can see the credit limit for each

Sometimes CC issuers take up to 2 months to report. Don't worry.

Re: Capital One cc not reporting yet to credit bureaus

Similar to the comments above, no need to panic as each lender will conduct their 1st report at different intervals. For example, when I got my Cap1 card last July, it didn't report until Sept. My Amex card that I also got at the same didn't report until Sept either. Conversely, some lenders may report right away. I just opened 2 Bank of America cards a week ago and one has already reported since the closing date was a few days after opening it. It really depends on the lender.

Avoided credit cards after ruining my financial health but got back into the game in 2019 after a 20 year hiatus
