Capital One!!!

I applied for a Capital 1 reguar platinum this weekend and they called my to verify my info does that mean they are going to approve me?

solid, it means they are taking a good look at your CR's.

It's not an acceptance, but not a decline either. IMO, it's leaning toward acceptance though.

I love my Cap1 cards. I've gone through rough times with them, but now that I'm out of my credit coma, the cl's have been coming nicely, deletions of the AF's, lowering interest rates, etc.

Pay them WELL in advance, EVERY time. NEVER go over your cl.

im thinking about cap 1for a starter card! What do you think? Thanks waiting on my BOA secured card to arrive! Should i just stick with BOA right now?

i dont have the B o A secured card but have heard good things. Cap 1 is also decent if you can get your foot in the door with them...

NEVER MISS A PAYMENT WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They will close your account and keep charging you penalties and interest.
Been here did this the scares will be there for another 5 years!

If you NEED the extra credit, I'd go with adding the Cap1 card. IMO, they are easier to get than a BoA card. And I have both.

Cap1 has been very good to me. I started with $300 cl on a Gold Visa. I added a Cap1 Gold M.C. shortly thereafter, with cl of $400.

Today the Gold Visa converted to Platinum, did away with the AF and the monthly fee, with cl of $3,200. The M.C. the same, but with cl of $2,000.
