I checked my CR's and noticed since January Capital One does not report the "amount paid" portion. They report the balance and everything else but how much I pay each month. Does this "take away" from my credit score or does it have no impact? I really am annoyed as I have two credit cards with them and pay in a timely fashion ( no lates) and they don't report "correctly." Wouldn't it be nice if they reported that I pay more than the minimum payment? I disputed this by the way

Agree 100%! I have two CCs with CapOne trying to rebuild my credit. I PIF each month (usually more than one payment to keep my utilization low), and I also wish they would report more accurately. However, I do not THINK it has a negative or positive impact. As long as they report the balance and you have that utilization below 10% that's what really matters.

As the link above indicates payment amount does not matter. Your minimum payment has no bearing on your scoring either so don't rely on it for anything other than the least you need to pay to keep your account current. If you're worried about scoring it's Utilization (Amounts Owed) that matters.
